I’m Oliver Bills-Strange, a designer with over a decade of agency experience in New Zealand.

I love creating digital experiences and eye-catching designs with a strong focus on usability and accessibility.

I started out in graphic design before moving into web, developing my UX skills on the job and building skills rooted in accessibility and functional simplicity. I’ve spent the past eight years at Digitas, working across web, CRM and app experiences for clients including Toyota, Westpac, Z Energy, Samsung, McDonald’s, Vero, Woolworths, Kiwibank and Southern Cross Health Insurance. More recently, I’ve stepped into an unofficial Design Lead role while working remotely from Christchurch. This has me supervising and mentoring a small design team, while ensuring the output remains top quality.

My approach mixes UX best practices with a strong sense of modern minimalism. I enjoy working closely with others to discuss and shape ideas, refine the details and deliver work that is best in class.

I am also an experienced graphic designer, illustrator, print designer, motion designer and packaging designer. I am known for having a keen eye for detail.

Outside of work, I live with my two daughters and my wife. I’m interested in a wide variety of things, including fitness and running, photography, travel, drum & bass music, cars and technology.

If you’d like to work together, please get in touch.
